What You'll Do:

Load/unload tile, grout, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and pull carts
Deliver materials to job sites using our flatbed truck with liftgate
Push/pull loaded carts and pallets (with equipment)
Lift and carry heavy materials (50 lbs frequently; up to 75 lbs occasionally)
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and stocked
Track materials and communicate shortages, returns, or damaged goods
Work with our field teams, office, and vendors to make sure nothing falls through the cracks

What We're Looking For:

Valid CA driver's license and clean driving record
Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
Reliable, physically capable, and organized
Comfortable using text or WhatsApp to stay in touch
Willing to take initiative, solve problems, and follow systems
Spanish-speaking is a plus
Forklift experience is a plus (but we'll train the right person)

Warehouse Driver — TileImpact, Inc. (Driver)

Position summary

The Warehouse Driver is responsible for the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of company-assigned passenger vehicles, vans, or similar light vehicles to convey people and occasional small cargo between TileImpact facilities, client sites, and other designated locations. The role emphasizes adherence to traffic and company safety policies, routine vehicle inspection and basic upkeep, accurate completion of trip records, and appropriate response to passenger needs and incidents.

Accountability for this role includes on-time and secure conveyance of passengers, maintaining vehicle readiness, reporting mechanical issues or accidents promptly, and performing duties in accordance with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements. Performance is measured by safety, timeliness, vehicle condition, record accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

Objective: Maintain a zero-incident driving record that meets company safety standards. Key Results: 0 preventable accidents per quarter; 100% completion of pre-trip inspection checklist for each shift; 0 unresolved safety violations after 48 hours of reporting.

\n\n

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

On-time performance: percentage of scheduled pick-ups/drop-offs completed within the assigned time window (target defined by operations).

\n\n

Problems solved for internal and external customers

Internal: Ensures operational continuity by transporting employees, contractors, and small equipment reliably between warehouse, dock, and office locations; reduces delay-related labor downtime and supports inventory movement when needed.

\n\n

Primary duties and responsibilities

Operate assigned vehicle(s) in a safe and lawful manner, following prescribed routes or instructions from dispatch; perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings.

\n\n

Key skills, abilities and knowledge required to perform the job duties as described

Required competencies include a valid state driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class, a clean driving record consistent with TileImpact standards, strong defensive driving skills, knowledge of applicable traffic laws and company safety policies, basic vehicle inspection and minor maintenance ability, accurate recordkeeping and trip-log skills, time-management and route-planning capability, clear verbal communication and courteous passenger interaction, and the physical ability to assist with securing or carrying small loads. Helpful experiences and development areas include training in defensive driving, first aid/CPR, incident reporting procedures, and familiarity with GPS/navigation systems and warehouse site traffic protocols.
